CODE CRAYON Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jeebok) conducted a lecture on the short-form drama business at the 'Asia Digital Broadcasting Academy,' which was an event accompanying the '2025 International Busan Content Market (BCM)' held at BEXCO in Busan from May 28 to 30.
This academy aimed to explore future development plans for K-content through the current situation of short-form content production and market analysis, and to promote production activation, targeting industry professionals from both domestic and overseas.

CEO Park Jeebok delivered a lecture on 'Current Status of the Short-form Drama Market and Understanding of the Short-form Drama Business.' The presentation detailed the global market scale of short-form content, success and failure factors, content strategies, and AI-based production processes, as well as IP expansion (PPL, commerce, music, etc.) along with actual operational cases of the Shortime platform.
In particular, CEO Park emphasized that "the China-centered short-form drama market is expected to grow to 19 trillion won by 2027, and in response, Korean short-form platforms must also respond with differentiated strategies and technologies centered on K-content."
He also added, "Short-form content is more about IP expansion and building a platform ecosystem than short-term profits, and it is essential to actively adopt AI-based technologies to improve production efficiency and secure global accessibility."
Meanwhile, CODE CRAYON has secured 300,000 subscribers across 175 countries through its short-form content platform 'Shortime,' achieving over 1 million cumulative ad plays, and is rapidly expanding its global presence, recently being selected as a finalist in the '7th Channel Program' co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Google Play.
