[Today Startup] CODE CRAYON officially launches global short-form platform ‘Shortime’

IP-based content company CODE CRAYON has officially launched the short-form platform 'Shortime', showcasing its original content to global users.
This platform offers a variety of short-form content, including dramas and entertainment, composed of short and intense episodes lasting around 60 seconds, and provides Korean content translated into five languages for global users.
Major series include <Running Mate> starring Dal Subin from the idol group Dalshabet and <My Man's Smartphone> starring Kim Nayoung from Gugudan. In particular, the unique format of the reality dating show <Real DM>, which decides the blind date partner in just 3 seconds, captures viewers' attention with its quick yet intense emotions. Shortime offers a diverse selection to users with various tastes, including works in genres such as romance, thriller, and fantasy.
Consumers can watch paid episodes through in-app purchases on Shortime, and can also enjoy content for free by watching ads or participating in in-app events. Options for unlimited viewing of all series through Daily Pass and Weekly Pass are also provided.
CODE CRAYON CEO Park Jeebok is a veteran who has led two listings at NP, a digital media content production and marketing solution company, after serving as CFO of WYSIWYG Studios and CEO of Raemongraein, which produced "Reborn Rich".
He stated, "Shortime aims for the globalization of K-content, and will grow into a platform that provides content relatable to users around the world through localized story development."
Meanwhile, Shortime plans to continuously improve service quality by introducing snack content such as 'Today's Fortune' and various gamification elements, allowing users to engage with content in a more enjoyable way.
